Vat Dyes

Vat dyes are used for colouring cellulosic fibre. It is widely used for the dyeing process of cotton yarns which is used for producing jeans or denim products.

Reactive Dyes

Reactive dyes are mainly used for dyeing cellulose fibres such as cotton and viscose, but they are also increasingly gaining importance for wool and polyamide.

Disperse Dyes

Disperse dyes are synthetic in nature. It is an organic substance free of any ionising group. These dyes are less soluble in water and used for dyeing synthetic textile materials.

Sulphur Dyes

Sulphur dyes are synthetic organic substantive dyes produced by thionation or sulphurisation of organic intermediates containing nitro and amino groups and are customarily applied to cotton and other cellulose fibre substances from reduced bath containing sodium sulphide.

Direct Dyes

Direct Dye is a class of dyestuffs that are applied directly to the substrate in a neutral or alkaline bath. They produce full shades on cotton and linen without mordanting and can also be applied to rayon, silk, and wool.

Acid / Metal Complex Dyes

Metal complex dyes are premetallised dyes that show great affinity towards protein fibers. In this dye one or two dye molecules are coordinated with a metal ion.
